Haha Riewoldt was crap in all three grand finals. Might have picked up a few cheap stats, but the only memorable thing he did was get smothered and embarrassed by Heath Shaw and inspire Collingwood.

Riewoldt had 3 cracks at a grand final and never got a single vote in the Norm Smith. Not even 1. What a waste of the at least $10m you've paid him over 15 years. Couldn't even turn up once on three of the biggest days in the history of your club. We haven't even paid Boyd a quarter of that yet and he's already won a flag and just missed out on the Norm Smith.

2010 Pies is one of the most overrated teams in history. They simply caught the competition napping with their innovation of pushing rotations through the roof. Once the rest of the competition caught on, and raised their rotations to 100+ as well, then well...you know the rest.
They had a forward line of Chris Dawes, Travis Cloke and Leigh f#cking Brown FFS. Buddy has more talent in his right boot than all of them combined.

Either way, you guys got smashed by 56 points in that decider...it was not even close. How can you honestly even try to compare?

He was best on in a Grand Final and kicked the match winning goal, he took huge marks all around the ground, played ruck and forward.

Luke Beverage as a St Kilda player had an extraordinary 'frees for' ratio! He plays to within an inch of the rules without going over. If you re- watch the GWS preliminary final it's the Giants who are going the knuckle and niggle at every opportunity, we didn't buy into that crap and played the ball tough. Collingwood dominated in 2011 and made a GF so they weren't just a flash in the pan, Sydney this year were no better opposition than them especially when they are an interstate side while Collingwood play home games at the MCG.

Collingwood destroyed Geelong in their 2010 prelim and they were expected to do the same to us in the GF, to hold that team to a draw was a great effort and we really should have won it in the end. The replay we had a lot of tired and injured players so it was no surprise we got smashed, Collingwood were a lot fresher which wasn't surprising when they had played about 10 games straight at the MCG without any travel.

I won't look back in embarrassment at all for pointing out the armchair ride the Bulldogs got from the umpires in the GF and throughout the whole year, their supporters denying it is more embarrassing as is their claims that Boyd is suddenly a better player than Riewoldt because he played one good game.
