Big hero laughing at the murdering of Richmond's history.
Drama Le Sigh GIF

It's a building ffs, take a photo, frame it, put it on the wall of the new one

GWS have their pick, our pick and a future first. Plus if they lose HH for the money reported probably another first rounder.

Forget about pick 1 - can’t see anyone else but GWS gaining it.

We should focus on the Suns first rounder but not quite sure what it will take and there will be many going for it.
melbourne will be in the hunt for sure
as will the hawks
doggies definatley a chance
as are the roos

Harley will end up at GWS

They have 2 x 1st rounders this year (ours & Theirs) Plus 2024 1st rounder
they will trade for him and Eagles most likely bite

If Reid is as good as touted then he’s going to the Eagles, no questions asked. They’ll burn Optus stadium down if they trade away pick #1 and Reid has an immediate impact like Naicos, Scheezel or Ashcroft wherever he ends up.

Bradtke, Tylar Young, Mansell and pick 63 for No 1.
and Tarrant straight swap for Hobbs.
that should get it done.
Throw in Pickett (you have to remember who we're dealing with when it comes to the Druggies)

Nah. Eagles need a lot more than 1 early pick. They'll split pick 1 for 3 top 10 local boys. That's a great start for their rebuild.

North swapped pick 1 for Sheezel and Wardlaw last year which is looking like great business.

We could just write Tarranto on the trade paper then get the liquid paper out and erase the ‘o’. Might even get the bummers to throw in Nik Cox.

only way you’d get Luke Darcy to say anything positive about Richmond is if we got Cox.
The stiffy Darc gets when Nik Cox goes anywhere near the footy is phenomenal!

I would still target Tom De Koning - brokering a deal might be too hard, but you would think Carlton would be one of the more likely teams that would accept a trade built around "ready made" players Vs picks, future assets etc.

A ruck/Forward combination of Lynch, Nank, De Koning, Ryan feels a lot better for the next few years, but also the next 10. It would take the pressure off Bauer & Bradtke & if only one of those guys could reach a good AFL level, we would actually have some options again.

De Konings value is hard to gauge right now, wonder if there is a possibility that Carlton would accept the compo pick for himy if we make sure his contract reaches the the top tier for compo - especially with their ladder position fallling fast. We could possibly afford to do it over the next couple of years, especially with Cotchin, Riewoldt, Castagna, Tarrant coming off the books, but also with Miller, KMac out of contract & Picketts future murky at best. I would think us retaining player and draft assets would be more a priority than cap space over the next 2 seasons. Paying a big kid on potential can look bad sometimes though ( CCJ ), but considering our situation its a risk worth considering. He. definitely has moments where you can see a pretty dominant modern player in the making

on output he has probably shown even less than CCJ, but his potential does seem a lot higher. He moves great for a tall his size. If CCJ was a pick 21 then considering Tom's current situation and form - a mid to late 1st rounder might be where he sits, which makes a level 1 compo pick very appealing
