How long would that last playing alongside Judd and Robbo?
GC could send Caddy to St Kilda for a laugh. ;)

Geelong would be a club whose leaders could straighten out someone who has tickets on themselves.
I can't understand the argument of money being an issue or an excuse for missing out on Caddy or Tippet. If we could fit Cloke onto the list given the ridiculous sums quoted on here and in the media, surely we could fit either of these two if we wanted them.
Can we give Tippett another concussion so he signs with Carlton?

Think we would have been forced to let Warnock/Hampson and Mclean go to fit Cloke or Tippett in our salary cap.

In that case, no thanks.

Warnock & Pick 11 for Tyson i think would still be unders considering he is a number 3 draft pick. Although because he wants to move back to melb, and warnock is a experienced ruckman who gws need it could work
The Tiges are only offering Pick 9 according to that report, so 11 & Warnock could be of interest to them. Unless of course Premiershipmond trump us by throwing in Angus Graham lol

There is a difference between being able to pay an amount of money, and actually being able to afford it, especially given the salary cap.
If Caddy wants overs, then that has ramifications for list management, which is not the same as having an amount of money that you can afford to pay Cloke.

Our forward line isn't diverse enough?
Nope. Not when, even with 'talls' in, the game plan reverts to 'Bomb it to Eddie'.

When Walker was up and firing in 2011, then you may have had a case. Attempts to turn Andrew Collins into a medium, mobile, HFF haven't been successful.

So a specialist medium forward plus a few genuine midfielders that like a goal would be my goal on draft day.

So Walker will never be up and firing again? You've completely given up on Collins? Garlett is finished? Waite won't play another game? We have the most diverse forward line in the comp for style of player, size, speed, goal-kicking abilities. Please don't let one bad season with injuries and form persuade you we don't have the right mix of ammo up forward.

We could still draft him, but only on the condition he wears the long SOS-style jumper every week.

We have some standards here, kiddo, this isn't Collingwood.

Walker was asked to play a different role this season than purely a stay at home forward. Who knows if Malthouse will play him further up the ground.

Yes, I pretty much have given up on Collins. I can't see him pushing for 'best 22' status. If push comes to shove regarding squeezing Bell onto the list, I'm not 100% confident Andy will survive trade week.

We've trialled various players in the medium forward role in the last few seasons - stints given to Houlihan, Wiggins, Duigan, Russell, Carrazzo, Robinson. None (since Houlihan) have had sustained scoreboard success.

Anyway, the last thing we need is a Gumbleton or a Dawes just because they're tall.

well Dayne Beams will be happy

"Yayyyyy, i don't have the worst tattoo in the AFL anymore, hooraayyy"
It looks like the same one that Jason Gram has on his back.

It's also painful watching Mick Ablett the draft expert on AFL.com try to give a professional opinion with a terrible tribal sleeve tatt.
