Interesting. I haven’t thought much about it but reasonable.
I think Miller has huge potential and the best of the lot. Edwards too early to know, he’s only just turned 20 and a growing lad. Charlie I think has a work ethos that gives him a chance but he’s a way off it currently.
I think Turner can play at the level but not adding much and Spicer not up to it.
Good luck to the lads!
Ratts looking noticeably trimmer and healthier than when he first joined us.
Watching today, I thought the same thing. Some stand out players and glimpses of great plays, but I still think we will struggle.
2022 turned into a disaster for a few reasonsThis is probably my way of thinking. Unless the majority of players we have recruited/traded for are duds with limited upside despite being high draft, then basic logic would tell we would have to be significantly more competitive.
We have a number of early draft picks approaching 3rd, 4th and 5th seasons, surely under Clarko they start to take decent leaps forward. The only way I see us having another wooden spoon season is if we once again cop a heap of injuries.
6-8 wins is my prediction.
I thought Bergman was solid today. I'd have him over MahoneyAt the moment?

For a while, I feel that we've performed less well that the sum of the talent of our players. It may take Clarko more than a few weeks to turn this around. This is probably my way of thinking. We will see. All I'm saying is from today it didn't look that impressive. Lot of skill errors, poor kicking for goal and a lot of bombing it long still. That being said a few stand out players. Maybe it will click when we have our best 23 on the same team vsing an opposition. If you think not making finals is struggling, then yes, we will struggle. If you think finishing in the bottom 6 is struggling, then yes, we will probably struggle. If you think struggling is getting belted most weeks, coming last, and winning 2 games or less, then no, we ******* won't struggle.
We will most likely see vs Richmond in the first preseason match. When we got demolished by Melbourne last year, it should have been a sign to know we were going to be in for a long year.We will see. Wasn't at training, but Bergman got a good wrap from whoever wrote the report. Bottom 5 seems harsh. I've already made clear my outspoken views on Spicer. The others, fair enoughAt the moment?

He is and we are going undefeated
