Not only did he make the wrong call, which cost us a goal, he reported Varcoe! Drop him to the VFL.

I would love this system. I'd like to report the boundary umpire who cost us a certain point by saying the ball was out before trav marked it. Think it was in the first quarter

Point? That was a certain goal. That's the only place Trav kicks goals from now, the left hand pocket about 40-50 out.

Would be a joke if he gets suspended for that.
Should not even have been a free kick.

Agree big time, I couldn't handle Bruce last night. His lust for Hawthorn players would put gay men to shame. Dennis was embarrassed for him and had to draw Collingwood positives out of him. Bruce is a stat superstar and his positive passion is great for the game but his man love is becoming unbearable for mine.

Yep. Low impact should ensure he doesn't miss a game. Clearly slowed up and doesn't go through with a hard bump.

I'm loving how he's playing this year. Have we brought out some aggression in him? Nothing to do with this incident but he's generally been playing quite hard footy. Delicious.

rioli was at fault there, varcoe did the correct thing in coming in sideways to protect himself and not get injured and that is how players should be getting a football on the ground not head first because your asking to be injured .

He did manage to win a free kick for a high tackle by Frost in which I'm not even sure he was tackled, whilst throwing himself backward into Frost's armpit. Goal.

I think that call was more ridiculous than the Varcoe one. He looked as if he was auditioning as a ballerina for a musical or something.
