Thought our tackling last night was very precise, clearly attended to our free kick against tally where a majority of these have been high tackles. Being manic in defence is one thing but reckless just stops momentum.

The umps did a great job until the death, then a few soft frees to the Hawks.

But finals umpiring is so much better for us than H&A. Worth about 3 goals a game i'd say.

My blood boiled when Roughy was gifted after his skyhook throw the getting holding the man, then cotch gets holding the ball after getting tackled straight after he grabs the ball! I was seeing red!

I've been super critical of them for 2 years and how they've umpired our games but they were ok for the larger part. Having said that, did we get one free kick inside our forward 50 last night ? Think the last time Jack got one was in 2012.

Yeah that Roughy free pissed me off the most for the night. He clearly took possession so it should have been illegal disposal (not knocked out in the tackle as it didn't even make contact with a Richmond player etc).

i hate the rule that a player is second to the footy, throws his body in low and gets pinged for diving on it. You want the guys to compete for it both standing and on the ground, the rule just scares players from getting the footy.
