Demographically it looks like a nice competition, with outliers being Old Trinity and St Bedes/Mentone.

Heard on the weekend that Nathan Brown didn't get the job he was expecting to get at the MFC women's team, so will be back at OM's next year.

Early reports suggest that SKOB could very well put in a licence to become the AFL's 19th team such will be their heavy AFL recruiting in the off season.
Watch out for a super coaching panel of the likes we have perhaps never seen.
Trinity and Xavs to start short.
The Uni's as always hard to read before recruiting season starts.
Roosters De La also have had a nibble.
Maplebet a little worried that Rooster may be jumping on the Carey Panthers B Grade wagon this year. But hopefully he can stick around the A Grade forum as well.
Not a lot of love yet for Wesley, Melbourne or the new kids on the block.

Are you sure they will be back?

Don't think the VAFA will allow Schneider to roam around the State picking up thousands and just popping in to play with Beauey as he sees fit. It was a disgrace.

Yep have heard Ferguson and Ong on board at the Trott but they lose mid field warrior Andrew Scott.

Beaumaris seem to have adopted the St Kevin’s recruiting model with a couple of ex AFL types rumored to be joining a couple of old team mates at Shark Park.

I suggest you read his history of posts, he's a Xavier bloke who must have had his high school sweetheart stolen away from him by a St Kevin's kid, all he does is bag SKOB.

Last time I checked it was still 2016. Mod's a little trigger happy I think.

Wrong on both counts......My dislike for Skobs is that they thought they could waltz into A Grade and take all by storm....Gun recruits, second to know one, fill their cabinets full of silver ware, a dynasty of premierships coming their way, no respect for clubs who have done a whole lot more than they have. And with a little bit more luck (in my opinion anyway) they could nearly gone back down.
The proof will be how many "guns' (pop guns) they retain for 2017. You couldnt get a wider "football gulf" than that between a Club like OT and one like Skobbs. So much to learn and its not all on the paddock...

While I'm at it, don't think demeaning a valued contributor by editorialising with "Bang- gaaaaaaaawn" in red when carding him is particularly edifying. I haven't seen another mod do that in my time here.
