Volta recently was in the coates league
the other two were on Bullants list last year

Leeflang Sulzberger and Volta was also a fantastic prog band in the late 70s.

Blade Sulzberger is a ripper name.
(Formerly a tv foreign correspondent from Vienna surely).

By my calculations of the primary listed players, we are to the max with 15, so no room.

I'm just happy that we have added players straight out of an AFL system. Phillips, Ford, Woewodin and Teakle. The playing list already looks more competitive and hopefully sees us right in the hunt for a top end finish and finals....

Yep, it wasn't looking good for a while there. I presume you mean Charlie McCartin (not Gardiner) BTW!

Gardiner was more a forward, but I think he could have played defence- probably younger than Pendles, so we could use him in a pinch...

Sure thing! He's actually a fair bit older than I would have thought as well - he turns 43 next month! He played at AFL level 2002-2008, so it's 18 years since his last senior game.

Saw a piece on Ben De Bolfo on Insta. Been saying it for ages but he needs a chance on an AFL list. Absolutely athletic defensive freak. Hoping to bump this in the future.

He wasn't in the draft last year, not sure how he could get onto an AFL list unless he nominates for the draft this year.
Maybe someone can jump in here with more information.

I’m convinced.

I’ve been dragging myself to our VFL games for years (hi Maggie5) and muttering something something about it’s more important for the AFL boys to learn our system than it is to win games.

Well stuff that. Surely this year our VFL boys will be successful?
