The ABC still have the rights to the VFL (it's seperate to the AFL package) but as for which games will be shown, I have no idea and I'm not sure anyone would either.Will the ABC be televising the VFL this year and if so what Collingwood games are going to be covered?
There might have been talk about dropping it but they're going to broadcast matches this season:I could have sworn the ABC said they were going to cancel their coverage, but the official VFL site still lists 1pm-4pm every Saturday as game time coverage on ABC.

But if Fox broadcast 1-2 VFL games a week, there would be calls from WA and SA viewers for them to broadcast the same amount of local games for them also, so I can't see Fox ever picking up their own coverage of local leagues.Surely foxtel will broadcast them soon? cant wait for the day i can watch every pies vfl game as well

Ideally, we'd have a national reserves competition, but I think that's a long way off also.
