Disappointing that there's no aflw girls given it is the last week they can play (aflw preseason starts next week) but good to see a still fairly strong line-up

It's all between the ears here

Big game in Geelong tomorrow.
Cats in a form slump now clinging onto the top 6 after looking certain to be minor premiers.
Hawks up and down like a yoyo. Set for top 2, drop games. Look like missing the 6, won games, back eyeing off top 2.
Really is an 8 point game and will shape the finals.

If you're in the west, or have free time get into dealing uni and cheer the girls on

It's a draw in Geelong after a 2nd half umpiring that would make the 2016 grand final seem fair and balanced. If the coaches were mind up post game, they'd be suspended (gives you an idea how bad it was)

Top 2 almost out of the equation now, and future in our hand for top 6

As per the above:

In:
88. G. McRae, 74. A. Holmes, 62. B. Gray
Out: 72. C. Bailey, 55. C. Perera (injured), 81. M. Trusler

Great win Satuday.

Big game v Saints on Saturday @ Box Hill. Win an we are top four. Lose and we almost certainly drop to 7/8 and miss finals. Get on down Hawks fans.

It was rough for 3 quarters, and I was getting flashbacks to the Williamstown loss, along with the draws vs Essendon And Geelong.
A lot of wasted forward forays. Then Abbey Holmes stuck up for a goal and the floodgates appeared to open

Hawks doing well in the wet. Abbey Holmes just kicked a nice crumbing goal. Hawks by 13 at 3/4T. Need to win or draw to make finals. Same equation for Saints so should be a desperate last quarter.

Elimination final against the Bombers tomorrow at BH city oval. Available everywhere to stream via VFLW section of the AFL app or afl.com.au.

Let down to end the season. 31-21 loss

Noone was ready - after the last 2 games vs essendon you'd think they would be. Deer in headlight stuff for a lot of the year

2 defining moments
Abbey missing a sitter from the square, and essendon getting a free near goals when they were doing the holding (essendon player who received the free even started to man the mark)

Off topic, essendon should've had their score wiped. When the siren went, their players ran onto the field before the final kick. Would've been a hollow victory, but after that game I'd have taken it
