Its not like he has 2 ruckman in front of him. If can prove he'll beat the oppositions 2nd ruckman then he'll definately have a place in the side.

I think Sandilands move to the forwardline, with some success has allowed Warnock to come back into the team. In previous games we were looking for a 2nd ruckman with a 2nd string to their bow. Playing back, or playing forward or wing. We needed the 2nd ruckman to be versatile. Now i think the match comittee want the 2nd ruckman to be able to ruck 1/2 a game. Allowing Sandilands to become the versatile ruckman.

In due course Warnock may be able to contribute in the forward line too. But at the moment Sandilands is in rare form.

I hope Warnock stays. Sandilands and Warnock are an awesome pair.

One of Freo's problems has been they have put games into players that havent deserved it and let the tail (players) wag the dog.

He is saying pick him or hes going, simple Lach. If hes not willing to earn his place he should go. You cannot whomever they are giving ultimatums to the coach. Its the wrong culture. Its blackmail, next time around he'll say he wants the #1 Ruck or hes going, then I dont want to go forward??

I thought his actual tap work was very good. Skills looked excellent, and we appeared to be winning a lot more clearances when he was in the ruck, as opposed to Sandi.

I sit on the centre line, and it appeared we lost the edge every time he was on, with Sandi we were winning most of the clearances. Knockers its was 60/40 their way.

I disagree with Brades a lot here. But not on this occassion.

You would have to be foolish not to see his value in this game. Did everything and more, for what you could expect from a top notch back up ruckman as far as I'm concerned.

I don't think we lost much at all. Warnock seemed to give us much cleaner use of the ball. And his work around the ground seemed better.
