Wednesday Training

McVeigh was on pool duty.
Stants wasnt out on the track.
JJ still, absent with his injury.
Lucas trained well.
Jetta looked to be going well.
Watson had an easy day.
Hirdy stepped up the pace of his running today completing several 120's at good pace before running laps.Should be good to go for the next Melbourne game.
Dean Dick was there but left early with some scans he had done on his jaw/face.
Neagle looks to have come through Sundays Bendigo reserves game well.
Demspey was also back at full pace this week.
There may be a debut coming up this week.

No they didnt seperate into groups.
Gumby and Houli where both fine. No problems.

Would you say that Lucas will play unhindered. He is so so important to our side and plays well vs. freo. If Lucas is there we can win this week and if we beat both richmond and carlton, who knows what the sheedy/hird factor will do vs. eagles

hocking from my understanding hasnt been promoted yet and isnt the deadline for rookie promotions round 18. im a little hazy on this subject so im probably wrong..

Longy has adressed the situation but we can promote Hocking at some stage becasue we have two spots on our list with Hislop and Cole being on the LTI list. I am not totally sure if their is a cut of date for promotiong someone but i do know it can be done at least up to round 20.

isn't there only one spot left on the list? remember rama has already been promoted. with neagle back playing he has come off the LTI list which would mean rama has effectively replaced one of the others, leaving one spot? i may be wrong but that was my understanding... someone else may know better

I hope Reimers plays. The big ground at Subi should be good for him. Give him some room to run around in the forward line a bit and add some much needed aggression. Thats if Sheeds gives him some bloody game time

We really need to try to get the ball in our forward 50 faster. It has been so congested down there this year...
