The crows defense was just unbreakable.

They are very good at it.

Swans play their best football when they attack, although the coach seems loathed to trust his own players.

I'm actually very happy with the way the swans played. Backing up from WC, on the 2nd hardest road trip in footy, yet won every stat in that game bar goals-for.

Adelaide are jammy. Wont go far in September.

Great game by the crows tonight showed that they are massive premiership chance!

Goodes you are a star.
Was it? The game seemed to be a shocker, and the atmosphere flat as a tack. So much for the big build up all week for the crow fans to make some noise.
Was it really so quiet or was that just the fox telecast?
I found myself watching more of the dogs/lions game, what a game that was.
Those dogs are going to be something special in the next few years.

Do you think Sydney will?

If we play more attacking than yes we will!

I agree you have a better chance of success if you attack. If Sydney doesn't make the top four I think they may struggle, they do not seem to attack much when they go on the road.

I do not agree with the comments that Adelaide wont get far. They may, they may not, hard to be critical of the side that keeps winning, even if they win a bit ugly.

If they roll the Eagles in round 22 in Perth and end up 2nd then their chances would skyrocket.

I think WC are still hot favourite, with Sydney and St Kilda equal chances to tip them. The rest are gone.

I think Adelaide has been by far the second best team in the competition, despite both our sides having chances to beat them the last two weeks.

They have a good record on the road, are rock solid at home. I am surprised you give them no credit.

Well Done to Adelaide.

They managed to win without the usual star midfielders having much influence. That's a sign of classy side and they are obviously a big chance for the flag this year. Burton and Rucciuto's goals were daggers through the heart, expecially since we seemed to miss easier shots on goal.

Rutten and Bock are stars! :)

I was glad to see Adelaide win to prove Andy D right, the way the Swans locked it in and used negative tactics would have been frustrating, but for the crows to break the shackles was brilliant. And lucky the Swans missed some late opportunities, they always seem to finish strongly.

However, the downside of Adelaide winning is that we will have to play an away final :( :(

Yeah i thought that aswell the atmosphere was very flat maybe just coz it was a tight game all night i dunno, considering there was 45,000 or so there it was pretty weird.

sometimes referred to as the only stat that matters

This further illustrates why the Crows do not get the respect they deserve.

45,000 > 25,000

they have to turn the microphones up at port power games. Especially this season too.

Was pretty loud there tonight, that is all that these Port supporters have left to use on us this year, sad isnt it.

I thought the atmosphere was really good, the fireworks before the game got the crowd going plus there was mexican wave at 3 quarter time.

The crowd absolutley erupted after Ricciuto's HUGE TORP!

I'd say it was probably the telecast.

Dont recall bringing up Port but once again of course you do. 25,000 people at a Port game is louder then your 40,000 you get. I go to both teams games and without being biased i'm serious. Nothing will ever be louder at AAMI then the Prelim final last year we got 47,000 there (which was meant to be beaten tonight) and it seemed like 60,000 at the G. There hasn't been much wrong with our crowds this year, they're higher then last.
