How did his opponent go? Didn't exactly tear it up. Solid enough game from Gardiner, doing what he is required to do.
Hogan played one of his better games. 13 disposals, 7 marks and a goal. Hogan is a troubled young fella, but thought he won the battle but Gardner was serviceableSpoils. Played on Hogan and gave him a bath
The commentary was a disgraceful barracking session the whole game.

So many people were having a fit in the game day thread when Bevo chucked Keath forward.Loved the move of Keath to the forward line. It didn't turn out to be the difference and I'm not sure if you could even label it as effective, but man that took some balls. Season on the line and to do something that risky was peak Bevo and I loved every second of it.
Tom Morris reporting that it's a fractured cheekbone for Naughton, not sure if press conference has happened yet.
That's what makes it even more satisfyingMy head nearly exploded every time they showed that bloody live ladder and mentioned Melbourne supporters.

I remember EJ playing with a depressed fracture of the cheekbone without missing a game. They wouldn't allow it now. What's the recovery time on a fractured cheekbone or eye socket normally?

We've been chipping Bevo all year for having no plan B and no match day creativity. As soon as he pulls an audacious move the thread goes into meltdown.
Credit to Bevo. He's clearly been studying the wisdom of our match analysis and has taken our comments on board. It takes real humility and a willingness to improve himself to do that.
Bringing him in for Richards would be a big improvement. What chance Vandermeer playing could use his speed.
That is not what Gerard Healy said and given he is a qualified physio he should know.

I say this every time it happens. I never ever want Gary Lyon to commentate another game of ours. Makes me sick listening to his bias.
