I still can't believe that people think that we will lose to St Kilda.

We're guaranteed to start winning soon.

In 2003 I was overseas for for a month and we won 3, lost 1.

In 2006 I was away for 6 weeks off our 9 week run

I fly to Europe this Sunday, so based on past history we'll win atleast two games from rounds 13 to 15.

In my opinion North are 80% chance to win this one against us, if the odds are good get on it. I just can't see us overcoming any team near the 8 at the moment. Our only chance is probably Ess and WCE.

Are you going to Euro 2008?

I was going to Euro 2008 if Scotland had qualified (born in Scotland, moved to Perth in the mid-80's when I was 7), but they lost at home to Italy in the final qualifier so will wait for South Africa in 2 years time. Would have been nice to go to Switzerland/Austria but the hassle of getting tickets and accommodation when I don't have a team to follow isn't worth it I thought.

Will be nice to watch the games on telly at a reasonable time though, kick off times seem quite late this time. Atleast in Germany there was a 3pm K.O. each day which is 9pm in Perth.

I thought of going there to cheer for Croatia but my finances didn't allowed it this time.

You a fellow Corat Mad Mac? I'm Heading over to Germany on the 27th then Driving From Frankfurt to Munich then through Austria, through Slovenia, making sure we stop off at Bleiburg for a while, but then it's furher down south stopping wherever and whenever we please on our way to Croatia.

Looking at our run home and I fail to see much light at the end of the tunnel, but hopefully the team will continue to be competitive.
This week against the Roos a real chance.

What I see as losses,Geelong,Port,Saints @TD,Sydney.

Possible wins,Richmond @MCG,Collingwood home.

Wins,Essendon,Melbourne,Weasels,St Kilda(home).
It is certainly going to be interesting.

I was in Paris late last year when Scotland beat France in the qualifiers. Was amazing eh. 50,000 Scots in kilts running around Paris. Thought they would be a sure thing when I saw that McFadden goal from over a third of the way down the pitch.

I was born in Scotland too, and came here when I was 5 in 86. Similar story :)

Just spoke to my brother last night. He's in Vienna, but is going into Germany, because it's all really expensive and booked out with the crowds. So yeah, even though he loves football he's still not interested enough to be there.

Where in Scotland are you from? My family's from Glasgow. Lived in Parkhead for 6 months in 2000, across the road from Celtic Park.

As for when Freo will win...we'll win the next 15 games to win the premiership....easy. I've already bought my airfare.

I can't see us winning Richmond at the MCG - remember we lost to them by 50 points at home. Collingwood at home i'd say we'll struggle too.

I reckon we'll win 4 or 5 for the year, depending on the derby.

Have you been to Munich before DE? It's an awesome city for anyone who likes a drink. You'll fit right in!

I have actually, I was born in Germany and lived there for most of my early years (age 6) so the although I have been to most places It really doesn't count as I was not of drinking age, but this time around I'm legal and more than prepared, I do however have a huge fear that once I get there I will won't want to leave and stay until Oktoberfest:D. Well it's not so much a fear as a huge probability:thumbsu: Gotta Love having a European Passport.

Bugger - I just realised I was going to suggest a few places to visit... I've been off-line for a while, so have forgotten... but will get onto it.

Bleiburg, eh? Bit of history there. :(

Don't we play Melbourne at Subi? We'd have to get up against them at home, surely???

Likelies: Melbourne, Essendon
Would think we'd be a good chance: St Kilda, Richmond
50/50: WCE (they're looking better now than they have all season)

Right at this stage, I'd be happy just to win 3 of those games and score a PP. :o

>2:1 odds on Nth Melbourne winning against us... strange that Freo is favourite going into this game considering how we are traveling and their recent record against us at Subi....
