As much as the Channel 10 coverage has dick-brained commentators, they have significantly more lively personalities, and much higher production values than Fox Sports, which makes it much better to watch.

However, I still maintain that, despite everyone's whinging, the coverage on Channel 9 in 2006 was the best that I had seen to date.

Someone voted for 7... One of the few things I will give them credit for, though, is that it's nice to see the replay of a goal before the commercial.

Channel 10 isn't that bad, but the commentators tend to get annoying.

Channel 7 is hopeless. Twice last night they went to an ad break, which is fine, except that a goal hadn't been kicked. One was when there was an injury break, and I don't remember what stage of the game the other one was. Fair enough that they need to go to ads, but FFS, there are enough goals in a game to suffice!

Not only is their coverage of games terrible they don't have any type of footy show. Channel 9 don't even have the rights and they have three!
Bring back Fox Footy and Channel 9.

The best game coverage this year was the Legends game

ch9's was hard to watch at times. always trying to bring in some "innovative" awesome technology like the skycam, or wiring up a player for stats on their physical condition, and so many other useless stats.
ten's is more or less stripped back most of the time (particularly the saturday arvo game since it's not prime time television) and features perhaps the best commentary team (with the exception of voss who bores me)

enjoy Fox with no commericals during the quarters.......But 10's Saturday Night HD broadcast is pretty good viewing.....
