AFL is really quick to discard coaches once they have had a go and haven't had success. It's pretty ruthless, and they seem to prefer young guys to the older more experienced heads. In other sports like NFL, alot of the head coaches are quite old, and that experience is valued.
There are a number of coaches who have been discarded who I think could well be successful if they were given another go, or I was surprised haven't had another go.
For example, Choco Williams, Don Pike are two who I think absolutely had/have more to offer.
