Struggling to care this month.
Just emotionally checked out of the feeling of a football season when it really hit me fair dinkum finals series with proper length game time no going to happen.
Somebody will win it but I just barely watched more than bits of pieces of games and do not feel the need to check out more of games when it all be so predictable with congested football and slow sideways football, the norm of this season, rather than the exception. Hope Brisbane win it but I have no real value on what it means given it such reduced game time and such poor quality overall.

I hope thing improve in 2021 for everything and football as cannot see myself continue to care if this is what continues for this decade much longer.
For me it is like falling out of love of someone you used to love. You still like, but the feeling of being in love is now over.

You will feel better when Carlton make finals next year, reduced game time or not.

Would rather play the Lions.
Can't see the Lions troubling the Tiges at all.

The Cats have been thereabouts for so long they're finals hardened, and if the Tiges are off the boil could give us trouble.
If the Cats do make it will Danger turn up?
And being a grand final Selwood will have to get over his fear of Richmond and actually play.

both had 30 disposals and leading clearances on the ground in last years prelim ... not bad for two players who don’t show up

Lions are better across all lines and even better (should they make it) will go in as underdog.

Better across all lines?? Interesting statement. I look forward to hearing about it IF you get up tonight.

As for tonight, I've tipped the Lions but geez the Cats are going in as big underdogs and that suits them to a tee. They tend to win these games. If Ablett kicks a couple, look out.

Ok. Bye bye now. See you in 2021.

Not convinced I will. If reduced game time stays I can see myself pulling my membership the following year at this rate.
Hope things improve big time in next twelve months to make me feel good about it again.

I think Geelong will beat Brisbane after some thought. They've got Dangerfield and Hawkins, two match winners. I don't think Brisbane have any match winners like that.

Charlie Cameron is, and Cam Rayner is about ready to split a big game open. If it's not tonight it'll be soon.

They did beat us only a fortnight ago. I'm sure they will take a heap of confidence into the game. Anyway i feel Cats will get them regardless.

A little, but you didn't have Lynch who makes a massive difference to your forward line setup.

Cameron will do his usual part. Think Geelong will have a hold on Rayner. Can't predict if he will have a great game or not. Will have to wait and see tonight.

Of course Lynch makes a big difference than Chol. Also allows Jack to take the second best defender. However confidence & momentum is huge. They have that in waves atm along with the fairytale story.

If they get through Cameron wont tear it up in the GF as Fagan showed his cards to early in the QF with his tactic for Grimes.
It worked a treat, but wont happen twice though.

Jack had the 2nd best defender last game
True. But Chol did not crash packs & bring the ball to ground for our smalls to feed off like Lynch has the last 2 weeks.
Will be interesting if it is a rematch. But like I said im tipping the Cats tonight, I feel they are the worst match up for you out of the final 3.

Edit - Final 2 now Port are gone.

Charlie has played up the ground the whole year. Big secret lol
Grimes kept Cameron to an average game with a late goal in the H&A by Charlie "not" taking him up the ground. Its the way he nullified Grimes game in the QF that changed our backline structure, Hardwick even said it in the presser.,
As I said, Fagans tactic was fantastic, but a few weeks early. It wont happen again

Ive heard a number of people who have been consistent with their prediction that this year will be a Richmond/Brisbane GF & Geelong can ofcourse still throw a spanner in the works with that. Will be interesting to see how the Cats fare tonight against the younger Lions outfit.

Max 29 & partly cloudy in Brissy today with 0% chance of rain so no slow footy.

Your best defender (who coincidentally is very bloody good) played without an opponent last game. Won't be happening with Lynch back in the team.

Ablett is a fraction of the champion he once was. I still think there is a big game left in him. Is tonight the night?
