As a Tasmanian, I hate the fact the Map is on most of our jumpers.View attachment 561024 If Tassie get a team, they will be wearing this strip or something similar....minus Richo of course!
Nothing better than a map of Tassie....As a Tasmanian, I hate the fact the Map is on most of our jumpers.
Would prefer something without it.

Know what's better?Nothing better than a map of Tassie....
Yep, stick an apple on the front? Errol Flynn swinging on a rope? Apparently Errol was a pretty good footballer in his day! It’s a bit outdated. Nothing at all would be more 21st century
Know what's better?
Absence of the map![]()
The AFL think that there's a clash between most jumpers so of course there's one with the grass. Just most other sports are so stupid as to react to the whinging of a few colour blind twitsDoesn't seem to affect the Cricketers? Australia, South Africa, Pakistan all wear green...Then you have the Melbourne Stars!
The Northhampton jumper goes alright I reckon, a lighter and brighter green and gold than the Tassie one and has vertical stripes.Northampton in the mid west is green/yellow. Several AFL players - Taylor, Kennedy, Haselby, Cripps x2, Chick and a few others.

It’s not just green. The other two secondary colours, purple and orange are hardly used too. And when they are they are too dark like Freo’s too dark purple. The primary colours, their darker shades, and black and white are close to the only colours clubs want. But there are many colours and shades out there that are just ignored. Those two green uniforms you showed look great. This tone of green would make a really great guernsey:

There are plenty of teams in soccer that wear green like the Celtics as well, there's no clash (unless you make one), easy to see against the turf, fans don't have a problem, as long as it's the above tone of green. t
The only problem is when it's dark green or any dark-ish tone of green which looks like s**t. For some reason, football teams in Australia have a fetish for dark colours and local teams that use green use darker varieties. In order to make green work you have to use a medium-bright green that is visually pleasing to the eye.
