Will Buddy kick 1000?

What's with so many idiot who want him to kick his 1000th in front of nobody instead of next year in front of a full stadium with no restrictions? Why would anyone want him to kick it today? Hopefully he gets injured or Sydney lose today.

What's with the idiots who would like to see Buddy injured rather than play well and reach a huge milestone? And to do this only to satisfy their selfish wants?

So dumb dumb, why do you hate the sport? Why did you want Buddy to kick 1000 vs. Gold Coast in a literally empty stadium, rather than not kick it this year, and kick it next year in front of 50,000 sydney fans at the SCG? I know your club is pathetic, but your hatered of the sport knows no bounds.

Watch the AFL send Hawthorn to play Sydney at the SCG in Round 1 2022. Friday night footy at its finest.

Sorry buddy, you're the one who seems to "hate the sport" by wishing a player gets injured to suit your selfish agenda. Also, Gold Coast? Lay off the crack..."dumb dumb".

I haven't posted since 2019, but I'm just chiming in now to remind myself to never make predictions. I really like Franklin, so this post is bizarre. I think hidden in there is dismay that Hawthorn were trying to spread the scoring load and not be so Buddy-centric. I think.

I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to, but in 2013, the club was aware Buddy wouldn't be at the club in 2014, they thought he was going to GWS. So, in preparation for life after Buddy, Clarko shared the forward line with Roughead, Buddy, Gunston, Breust, etc with Roughead the focal point. Buddy was still pretty handy kicking 60 goals for the season.

Looking forward to the day he kicks his 1,000th goal, he's been a wonderful player over the years.

The problem is, there's no guarantee that will happen. Covid will still be around next year. Also, you never know what may happen in the interim. Buddy could sustain a career ending injury in pre-season. Hopefully none of that will happen as I look forward to his 1000th goal, but I would have been happier if it was out of the way.

Will be round 2 as it is unlikely Buddy will kick 5 goals in round 1. Round 2 feels like a safer bet.
I think they could start with swans away to gws ( enables lots of swans fans to go), then swans at home to hawthorn.
or swans at home to gws, then hawthorn away at mcg in round2.
