Why is Martin not a smart footballer? Because he left school early? Makes good decisions to me. I'd question your calls on Vickery, King and Houli too. King has had problems with over-aggression but also gets punished because it's him. Players I would describe as smart include Morton, Astbury, Lids, Edwards (although he can be a little too clever for his own good at times), Connors (ditto), Farmer, Browne, Moore, Foley, Conca, Webberley and Nason. The main hindrance is inexperience.
