Winners

Fremantle - finally got a forward, in fact 2! Also landed Hill and Hamling, and stayed in the top 10

Melbourne - Two huge upgrades with both Hibberd and Lewis coming in

St Kilda - bending Hawthorn over in the draft deal

Losers

Port - couldn't shed any cap room

Geelong - hamstrung by their cap

Geelong big losers... We love giving way our players for nothing..
Kersten was worth a pick in the 30 and we gave him away for pick 63.. Terrible..

Really happy with West Coast's period.

Sam Mitchell and Nathan Vardy for some loose change.

Freo have done a great job too. Filled needs quite cheaply, and in the right age profile.

Has to be Hawthorn. Landed both of the big fish we were after and left the club in a very good position for next year's free agency bonanza by moving on some veterans in a way that won overwhelming respect from the football fraternity. Look to have rejuvenated the list in a single draft period despite the system being set up to drag us back to the field.

Freo are Saints did really well, but a lot happened in the last day so will need to sit down and go through them all

You just traded out your B&F winner and runner-up, for a bloke who plays 4th fiddle and a bloke that can't get on the park.

It may be an inspired decision in a few years, and I can understand the logic. But, in terms of big winners, I think you're well wide of the mark.

Pretty happy with Norths trade period..
Very little risk for massive reward..

Ahern could be anything... Hrovat is a little gun imo and I wanted him in his draft year.. and Williams if he gets his head right if the kind of shutdown defender we need..

Kept our top picks and go to the draft with 11/32/33 in a even year.

Lots of salary cap space next year for a big fish or two.

Other winners are Freo/Saints
Losers are the Cats and Hawks..

Geelong and Hawthorn biggest losers

Melbourne, Fremantle, St Kilda biggest winners

How are the Hawks losers? Tom Mitchell and JOM are great gets. Trading out 2 players that have a couple of years left and getting a couple of players that have 10 years is a good result. Long term they have had a big win.
