Well he been a Disappointment so far at North and We need Speedy Guy with good Finshing Skills and that what Wells is.

So would he be worth Chasing if he is put up for Trade?

of course he'd be worth it, but the tough thing is who do we let go of for him?

Hmm soft outside reciever no we are right thanks

if we are targetting a midfielder deledio is the one, but its round 2 and a long long time before this discussion becomes important

For the last 2 years I've had the same answer, no. Just curious though TD, the question is would you take him? and if so, what could he bring to Collingwood that we haven't already seen of him at North?

I brought this up as I still think we miss a Player who has Electric Speed we have Quick Player but not Electric Quick

The guy I would be taking a good look at is Jordan McMahon.

On a good team he plays well, fantastic reader of the play and will be the cheapest outside mid who could provide excellent value.

On Wells he would come at a price of perhaps Dale Thomas? So I'd say no thanks and opt for an unwanted Jordan McMahon who we can get off the scrap heap and who might fit well into our side.

In regards to trade targets I don't see any top quality KPFs being available but one trade target I don't mind is Ryan Crowley. Quality tagger and see him being a great fit who may not have the value to Fremantle that he may down here. Will obviously depend on the quality of his season though.

Having Davis/ Thomas/ Shaw/ Swan (deceptively fast) and then guys like Sinclair + Barham developing is still better than most in that area so I would not worry.

I'm just trying to get my head around why would look at any player after only two games, both of which we won.

Wells is only average at North, who haven't won a game yet.

We have far better prospects in our own back yard, such as Sinclair, Young, Hunter, J Thomas and Rounds.

No, I just don't understand what's behind the question

I would not have Barham on that list as he could not Kick to save his life

If we want a quick outside mid with no footskills, we already have Jaxson Barham. Jordan McMahon is a toilet brush.

Jesus christ that is the worst trade suggestion ever:eek:

Knew you would like that one ;)

I think McMahon would make a great PSD pick. Richmond have poor run + drive out of the backline and are a team completely reliant on run through their midfield which makes McMahon's ability to read the play almost useless. Playing for a better team like Collingwood/ Geelong/ Western Bull Dogs/ St Kilda/ Brisbane/ Adelaide/ Hawthorn you would find he would be significantly more effective because this drive is generated off half back and he can find the space and read the play as well as anyone and infact become quite an effective player.

I certainly see a Paul Medhurst transformation being entirely possible with him.

Don't get put off because he doesn't get a game in the competitions worst side now :D

He's improving... He is significantly more composed with the footy now. Foot skills are getting there also...

Did you watch him yestrday at Vic Park?

Yeah cloke for wells. Good idea. Only problem is Wells is softer than a piece of dog poo. He never puts his body on the line.

No interest in Wells. Much better that we develop our own recruits. Wells will go missing when the pressure is on in finals.
