Nah I heard it was only a couple of goals and still have a few to come in but according to Big W and what Golden has said, doesn't matter, GO for Premiers and Champions.

Glenorden beat West Coburg
East Keilor beat Wyndhamvale
Manor Lakes beat Sunshine Heights
UHS beat Caroline Springs

Any other results ? How did albanvale go against moonee valley ?

Yep, EK mustn't be any better or picked up any players over the break, Battistella is a shit coach. Year over for WV. Rest all your good players against them. Struggling big time.

By EK winning wouldn't that be putting then in a good position? And I think we all no Wyndhamvale are going to be a top 2 side so the sarcasm doesn't work there but nice try and lets not be to hasty Batistella is a decent coach already has two division 2 premierships to his name, and with the team he has now and yes the new players he has got has a very good chance at another this year but in EDFL this time

Div 2 Premiership and Coached North Footscray into 1st Div.Had them as competitive if not more competitive in their first year in Div 1 than they were in 2012 under a coach that had coached Port Colts to 6 Div 1 Grand Finals in a row. Ease up fellas, the whole post was taking the piss.
The post I replied to said that WV were beaten by a EDFL div 3 side in 2012. To me, that's a dig at WV for losing to a side from a supposed inferior level. So I thought I'd take the piss in my reply. So wouldn't that tell you that I rate Batistella as a coach?

Im sure they were as was the attitude of the opposition, two of the players had played an under 18s game that morning. Just interesting from our point of view because with 26 players out from the seniors and reserves and travelling to a club that gives out coin, we expected to get flogged. Thought the standard would've been much much higher

Well we probably can't look to much into pre season football, we played a few kids on the weekend and think we can play finals this year, wests obviously were resting players as were wvale and for glen Orden to beat the premiership favourites in the edfl means they must of had players out too!

Albanvale have been off the radar for most of the preseason. They had some changes over the break?

I agree they are flying under the radar, but they have no chance of finishing on top. They should play finals but 4th or 5th spot. Glenorden obviously were not at full strength on W/E and still got a nice win they have to be favourites to finish on top. Wydhamvale were closer to full strength then ppl are saying, they had there 3 big recruits playing on W/E.. O'Shea, Beazley and Suckling and plenty of regulars, still 2nd best team in it right now. Parkside have had a little bit of a clean out but went within a few goals of a GF last year, wont be good enough to go all the way but well still cause teams problems on there day will finish top 3.

Spoke to a mate at WV, reckons that they're struggling coz things aren't coming together. Second best is a bit of a stretch.
