So the trials and confirmation of efficacy do exist, they've existed for months and over a year in some cases
Ivermectin does not work. Trials and studies do not point in any one direction. They are all over the place. Some show efficacy, others show harm, others show no effect.

Cherry picking the ones that support its use gives grifters their power.

It does not work.

It's an article, not a peer reviewed, scientific study, let alone something with the scientific credibility of a meta-analysis.

Written by a student - Gideon Meyerowitz-Katz (incorrectly posed as a doctor by mainstream media articles)

The chief scientist at a skin care company - James A. J. Heathers

A doctor who specialises in back pain imaging - Kyle A. Sheldrick

A scientist who specialises in 'Applied Positive Psychology' (whatever the hell that is) - Nicholas J. L. Brown

...and Jack M Lawrence, who I can't find any conclusive qualifications for. He may be the Jack M Lawrence who seems to specialise exclusively in dementia according to what I can ascertain from his 19 scholarly articles - if I have the correct person.

Real credible bunch of 'experts' you and the dozens of mainstream media outlets who regurgitated the story are relying on there [sarcasm fully intended].

Like the dregs dragged out to argue against Climate Change all over again.

Do you want to know the medical/scientific credentials of all the people behind the studies they're attacking, or shall we leave it there?

Hint: It won't end well.

P.S. I don't do Facebook or Twitter, but I bet you do given your apparent level of gullibility. :thumbsu:

So you're basically a drug pusher now?

Surely you can just see which posters alt account this is. Comes in out of nowhere beating the drum for Ivermectin like a madman. Could be one of a handful of posters.
There really are more individuals who think this way. We show one the door, another sneaks in.

I struggle to get my head around the reasons people are pushing for Ivermctin so hard.

And they run with anything.

"Oh molnupiravir must be the same as ivermectin.....cos....like ....i reckon...well actually someone else reckons....i copied the idea."

But its a totally different drug!

"Oh you believe them over me and my dodgy internet mates ...how gullible are you "?

There are people on social media who deliberately spread misinformation. This is well known. I’ve heard, and maybe Chief can confirm, that BigFooty is one of the largest Internet forums in the country.

Be naive to think they’re not here.

It’s not an alt account.
You can disagree with a poster but that’s just being nasty.

It's very similar posting content and style to a couple of the usual suspects that go on, and on, about Ivermectin, despite all actual evidence saying it's at best, inconclusive whether it works or not.

Has also appeared out of the woodwork over the weekend running rampant about it, having never (that I've seen) commented on it before.

It’s similar but I can promise it’s not.
Very familiar with the poster and whilst i don’t agree with the whole ivermectin thing I know he’s intelligent, respectful and I’m always prepared to listen to stuff I don’t agree with so long as it’s a fair and reasonable discussion as I know you usually do too.
He’s passionate about it obviously but I don’t get people (not you) calling people they don’t agree with idiots etc.
Can’t wait for all this to pass through it’s just so divisive.

Probably a different person who is getting arguments and beliefs from same source and so cut and paste arguments

Entirely possible, like how the usual suspects come in once a week with a new 'argument' all at the same time from whatever alt-news social media source they get their information from.

Freakin' Whirlpool stealing our top spot!

I think there are a few odd ones like mums blogs/forums etc that are bigger. I haven't checked in a while though.

So out of 51,000 deaths til July in the Uk this year only 468 (1.2%) were fully vaccinated and you think vaccines don’t work? To quote yourself……hahahbahahbahhahhahahahahhahahahhahahahhahahhahajjajajjajahhahhahha

Massachusetts reporting 45% of its Covid deaths last week were fully vaccinated.
