Marcus Dawson from Doutta Stars has some class. May be one to watch.

what about some 18-20 year olds playing in the seniors, are there any kids that are developing well?? i know of saad from roxy had a great year, taylor from westy also, perri represented the edfl, any others?

go to the under 18 b grade thread and you'll see the tips for this weeks grannie, plus they're tips for the BOG medallist

at hillside there's tancredi (on baller), ball (ruck) and abela (KPP) to name 3 of them

There's this player called Nick Fletcher for Craigieburn. He's a tank, he has a booming kick, is a great passer and seems to inspire his teammates. There's another one from Craigieburn called Jake Layley who also has a future in the game, uses the ball well.

I agree with what you say about Fletch but not Jake Layley
i have seen him play and he is not much chop.
For starters he didn't even get feature in any awards and also his injury prone and did not make any EDFl teams.

Add Tom Russell to the list. A jet and a half, loves to snag a few goals. One to watch most definitely.

Well mate you just contradicted yourself there, he seemed to be playing through injury all year and still got in the best most weeks. It's pretty hard to feature in awards when your injured and in a pretty sub-standard team. And about Fletch, he's a huge chance of making AFL, just needs to improve his footy smarts a tad, and Hayden Brown was another who played well when he's teams on top, he's an attacking player.

Alright, well if you make any EDFL teams next year, or feature in League or Club BNF's, or make any cannons sqaud, then come on this and tell me.

I looked at your stats, From 11 games you featured twice in the best players.

I know your not a bench warmer, but prove to me why you have a future in the game ;)

Best wishes.

there is another thread posted in
school football - edfl players to watch
with some useful infomation on the better players from the under 14s in 2008

my 3 picks from keilor U/14 to look out for

James micaleff- comp best and fairest, 50 disposals first game this year. hes quick, strong thumping right foot kick, and perfect left foot aswell. polled 5 votes from 3 games in under 16's though he is only an under 14

Nick Gaurino - he is a gun, kicked 4 goals in 2 under 16 matches, tough at it, very athletic

and mason ??- not sure about his last name, very tough defender was throwing his body on the line in a 16 match i think maybe first year 14 not sure, he wont take anything

You have no idea do you, Micallef is a gun yes but a perfect left foot?????
NO!
He guides it down with his opposite hand and just kicks it anywhere.
And nick tough at it, are you kidding.
He loves the easy ball and to run with it.
For a "keilorboy" you don't know too much about your players.
