Used to go for the Hawks before Adelaide came into the comp.

Loved Dipper and Dermie, the Chief was a star, loved Johnny Platten. They have had some very lovable characters over the years!

Not enough love for Tucky in this thread. You could put up a case for him being the greatest of all time. Maybe the greatest record.

Games: 426, most of any player to play the game. This is likely to stand for ever.
Premierships: 7, most of any player. Ditto.
Grand Finals played in: 11, most of any player. Ditto.
Finals games: 39, most of any player. Ditto
    Captain: 6 years
    Captained 4 Premierships.

    Pretty untouchable.

OP is for favourite, not who has the best record

But seriously, for me it would be Dunstall, Parkin, Knights, Tony Hall, Jarman, Buckenara, Wallace, Langford.

Dermie. Gun. I was a Hawks supporter before I became an Eagle in 92. Loved his Tip Top ads as well, I ate so many loaves as a 4-5 year old just to get the AFL Cards in the packs!
