Your Old Pre-Draft Faves

Who have been your favorite Prospect pre-draft and Have we got them.

For Example I do mine for the last 2 Drafts.

2006-Jack Riewoldt
I wanted JR because I hate to abmit I fell for the Name Riewoldt and Thought he would be as good a Prospect as Nick. Also he was a Forward and I thought we needed.

2007 - Dawson Simpson

I wanted Simpson because I thought he was Exacly what we needed in a Ruckman, Tall (206cm) and Looked like he could be Big Bodied and could push other Ruckman around. Even after the Wood Trade I still wanted Simpson I even Imagined those 2 as our Furtre Ruck Combo.

So do you have any Pre-Draft Favourites?

I was hugely keen on Selwood in 06.

And then on the Sunday morning they said Geelong were 100% to take him if available. Shattered.

I was also really keen on Bachar Houli.

I liked Meredith last year and Marlon Motlop.

I generally listen to the draft and think why didn't we take him, and then 5 minutes later I'm like, well I'm happy with our selections.

In 1997 I was a massive Andrew Williams fan.

I only started to be really interested in the draft in 2005.

2005: Varcoe, Pendles
2006: Selwood, Proud
2007: Motlop
2008: Swift, Hartlett
