Thought this deserved its own thread. Both Zach and Ciaran have been selected on the initial panel by the GAA to represent Ireland in the International Rules Series.

I envy you every time I see you post on BF, Dram. Spent 6 weeks in Ireland between July and August and it was unbelievable.

It is hard not to love Zach! What a legend and the nicest bloke you'll ever meet. Heard he took in Ciaran or is atleast mentoring him and getting him used to life in Australia.

If we get a player half as good as Zach I'll be pleased. Let's hope we get keep getting 60m goals for years to come

Byrne'a solid looking 18 year old kid.Has a decent boot on him as well,if he is half as good as Tuohy we have a gem on our hands.

In a bitter sweet scenario Betts was in the bests for Australia too and showed the harassing play that we will miss so much.

Hardly saw Byrne, Tuohy is just a pleasure to watch in this format too.

Betts set up everything for the Australians in the second half, it's weird watching him now.

Touhy was awesome. Byrne is surprisingly quick. Got a lot of the ball in the first half.

Personally thought Motlop was BOG for Aussies. But Eddie was good.
