THE CARLTON Football Club is pleased to announce Alex Cincotta, Hudson O’Keeffe and Domanic Akuei will remain in Navy Blue.   

Cincotta, O’Keeffe and Akuei have committed for another year.  

All three players have worked hard to earn their spot at the Club, with each paving their own, unique story of resilience and determination.

Very happy for all three to be rewarded, Cincotta has been valuable at AFL level and HOK & Akuei have shown considerable growth in the VFL so far this season, definitely worth persisting with.

Also pleased that the contracts are one year in length, unlike unnecessarily locking in Mirkov for two last year.

Well done for all three players…

Cincotta great news, has some good qualities which will only get better the more games he plays, has good offensive/defensive capabilities, speed/run along with foot skills are promising..

O’Keefe still quite raw who also has some good attributes for an up & coming young player, add some more weight strength and power to the frame, improve the contested marking he has the makings of a good bargain based future ruckman..

Akuei, still very raw but has improved as the year has progressed, showing some good flashes of athletic quality in small sample sizes…

Good cheap signings, I have this hunch Akuei has some untapped X factor that he is worth persisting with. HOK needs a big summer in the gym, seems to like it tough on the field and may have a fair bit of campaigner in him.
