List Lodgement 1 ,which includes eligible father son nominations to be submitted to AFL by 2.00 pm.
Surprising nothing is out from club unless they are restricted by some afl protocol on who first releases the information.
Now to see what players get delisted from clubs - with all the movement there should be a good player squeezed out. Im expecting us to pick up another one or two mature bodies as either DFA's or rookies. Plenty more to play out.
Great work SOS and more importantly the club.
Showed tenacity and by doing so an appropriate value was extracted by GWS.
By not folding on pick 1 2018 for Shiel we have some sort of an idea on what will expect for any possible trading of that pick.
IMO There is still more to play out and if...
Bud be happy with what we got.
We picked up some young contracted players that wanted to play with us, kept our first and will pick up some mature bodies as DFA's or as rookies.
Nearly as good is that not one of our young players or any player for that matter requested a trade out.
Heard on SEN that should Scully retire due to a career ending injury there is no impact on the Dorks salary cap which mitigates their risks considerably. The 4 years might have been Scully's requirement for moving.
They will have to pay the price for that because a club will have to bid on him and consequently its not like they are getting Blakely plus another first rounder this year. There decline might be slower than the other two however it will happen.
Not so sure about that. Yes they have introduced plenty of kids but they have plenty of older players slowly declining. The academy does provide an advantage however they now have to pay a reasonable price and wont have any free hits.
He doesn't strike me as that sort of character though. Being the consummate professional that he is he will probably play round 1 however the issue is to what level will he play at.
Don't worry they are just another year closer to having a huge fall. This has happened to all the great sides eventually and it will strike the dorks, swannies and cats also - nothing surer.
The appeal of a Kelly, on top of his sublime skills, is that he immediately elevates our current midfielders and reduces pressure and Crippa. It generates excitement within the group and by consequence this should drive improve training standards. The benefits are huge and therefore the cost is...
He is talking to a number of different types and yes we are one of those groups. The fact he has continually left the door ajar and was only discussing pick 1 makes me think he is shopping the future first and or both firsts for an elite player.
Don't forget that todays truth is tomorrows pork pie.
Bugger and double bugger.
Really thought Casey was on the cusp of becoming something special. His one on one work had improved dramatically and IMO was better than 2e at the same number of games.
Hope he recovers quickly from his busted ankle and becomes a Gaelic champion.
Wonder if we need another pick this year for BSOS. We currently only have 69, 71 and 77 however im unsure how these are currently treated when matching a bid for a F/S - more specifically do we the picks points value or is there a minimum points value after a certain point in the draft order.
