Decent first half against a solid Dortmund side (albeit missing a few key players).

I can tell I'm going to really enjoy watching Coutinho this season. Shades of Riquelme in the way that he shows the defender the ball before making it disappear up his arse, waltzing past them and playing in his team mates with passes that simply aren't there to be played. I've lost track of how many times I've got out of my chair, walked up to the TV and politely told him to get f*cked after his latest outrageous piece of skill.

liverpool have been very good, and dortmund have been utterly shambolic. to be expected i guess with some of the players dortmund have missing up they seem incapable of dealing with any pace whatsoever.

Absolutely breathtaking football from Liverpool in this 2nd half. The speed and accuracy of the passing and movement on display would be absolutely impossible to defend against.
