They are assembling a very nice list with some depth finally

Also Neville Jetta has been a revelation and looks ready to kick on from his very very good 2014

Vince is pretty good for a senior role player too. Astute trading for undervalued players, and drafting guys with 1-2 years more size on the 18 year olds (as well as high picks like Petracca and Brayshaw). Best part is, these kids might actually get developed under Roos, unlike Morton, Blease (unlucky) and paying overs for Clark.

Hopefully Melbourne keep it up. Supporters deserve it they were fantastic today. A lot to work on still but I think I've underestimated Roo's influence. At the very least he's brought some pride back.

It hardly surprises me that gold coast are off this and during NAB cup. Just because you get an experienced coach doesn't mean everything magically clicks. Players have to learn to how rocket wants them to adapt. Not to take anything away from Melbourne who have improved ball movement in particular.

Not to mention Daniel Cross. He has bought back some of that experience we lost during the fire sale from 2006-2008. He always seems like the player who allows us to gather composure when teams make those quick goal pushes against us.
