Azarenka v Stephens should have been the night mca match. No idea how you can defend putting 18 time gs winner on the secondary court over a player who just recently became an Australian and 95% of people have never heard of.

I don't even like serena, but s**t you've got to show her some respect for the champion that she is.

The issue is that in recent years the deal was done where in the first week where possible the men's match would be played first in the night session. While it is expected of the men in the second week, there is no way on the first week most of the top woman are waiting around that late to play which is why the second night matches have been Australian woman.
