Crowd Predictions for Easter Sunday vs GWS Giants @ Adelaide Oval

I've seen lots of cricket from the Hill. My backs crook so standing for 3 hours probably isn't my preference. Only seats I can find for 3 people under $50 is top of the eastern stand. Any good people?

Top of the eastern stand is fine. Sat there during the showdown and it was good. Sun in the eyes can be a factor depending on how far back you are so bring hat/sunnies.

If you are up in the top level of the Eastern stand on Sunday you won't need a hat or sunnies as the sun won't get up to the top level until about 4:30 & the game will be over an hour before that.

Cos of the early start people sitting in level 1 eastern side will probably be in the shade until quarter time too.

Yeah I can't see the sun being that low. We are pretty far back. Probably need a jumper if anything.

Good point, depends how far back you are really. At the Showdown the port reserved areas finished fairly low down so GA was kinda middle of the stand. May be different for the Cows as we have more reserve seat season ticket holders.

2,000 tickets remain, so that means we're relying on 16,000 no shows for the crowd to be 35k. You never know haha

Chris McDermott just said on FiveAA that there are only 2000 tickets left for the game on Sunday. We have sold 6000 tickets to this game, considering the opposition this is a great effort.

So looks like we will get close to 40,000 for this game (when you consider 10-12,000 Member No Shows plus 6000-7000 tickets sold).

They just said its gone down to 1500 since this afternoon.

Really who cares how many tickets they sell.

It's all about how many actually turn up.

They can crap in about having a sell out or 500 tickets left all they like but if only 38,000 people turn up - it isn't a very good look.

Without a ticket resale program in place, having the sold out sign up means nothing.

Excellent. Sat in front of the Magarey room last week for the Port game with a mate. Great area there, albeit a little bit smaller than the plain white indoor cricket centre. But a great room nonetheless. Great move by the club to make this change.

Yeah that whole level is built for that kind of after game function.

What was so bad about the indoor cricket centre?

Apparently the floor they put over the cricket floor was dangerous and shifting, there was only alcohol served and no soft drinks for kids and non drinkers. There were no colours on the walls and no atmosphere.

This is one part of the oval we got screwed by the SACA, as the Redbacks will be using it as their winter preseason training venue so team colours cannot be put up as easily or st all as we were all promised in the design photos.

Compared to that Port have said the Magarey Room is brilliant, has a great atmosphere and all the amenities are there. Both sides don't get more than 1500-2000 supporters staying back so it is the perfect size and is a good way to beat the crush on the bridge and at the train station.
