I was against trading Hooker then, I was against it the next year for two 2nd round picks, and am damn glad how it turned out.

But GC were always asking for overs to try and fend off poaching of their list.

Some tosser on the main board was trying to use this trade fail as evidence that Essendon are hard to deal with and over rate their players. I tried to respond once and he kept going. I was lost for words.
