Dancing David Rodan
The smiling assassin

They should do been given enough top draft picks
Have they?

The McKay compensation was probably a little over, but along with that compensation, trading 1 player and the first overall and turning it into pick 2, pick 3 and a future 1st was pretty smart operating.

All of whom played today (with the exception of Goad) and all will be first 23 players for some time.

Given all the inconsistencies in the AFL the “assistance” given to North Melbourne is almost consistent with that given to the Suns.

My issue is that it rewards clubs for poor list management, as the AFL will stack their hands.

The assistance is a blight on the game.

Explain how giving North another first round pick to select an 18 year old ruckman is going to help their fortunes in the short term.

All it does it ensure they have an unfair advantage in 5 - 8 years time when these players peak in unison.

The hawks look to be bottom 4 material again this year.

Will day going down has hurt them big time. He’s a talent plus Too many same same mids outside of day.

Lol they’ve been given a wealth of assistance before then. Handed the picks to pickup those freo players for free recently as well.
