We lost our best KPP who went to the Premiers on 2.5 mill over 4 years. That means top compo; get over it.

Even though Petracca hasn't had a kick in anger yet, it was a situation where the gain was well ahead of the loss............we all know that.

Nothing I wouldn't have wanted my team to do under the same circumstances but when Melbourne subtlety put their hand up for a priority pick, this appeased the situation. Nothing to get over.

Doubt it, very very much.
The AFL just took the opportunity to give Melbourne pick 3 under the guise of their convoluted and completely shady compo system.

Hawks got a good player in Howe latish too
Howe, Miles and Pittonett all look to have bright futures at this stage, playing very good senior footy at VFL level. Considering we also traded pick 19 for O'Rourke too, we've done quite well.

Pretty sure the Hawks would've had a whinge if they knew we were getting top compo when it wasn't warranted.

Very happy with our drafting. If Petracca is better than Brayshaw look out! Neal-Bullen amd Stretch also have played well. Oscar Mcdonald tracking pretty well in VFL but will be given time. Add Vandenberg from Rookie Draft and it was a great draft period for us.

North kicking goals with two of their three draftees with season ending injuries. Neilsen with a knee and Vicker-Willis with a shoulder.

Yay!!
And now Durdin out for the year meaning all blokes taken in the ND are on ice for the remainder of the year.

Because who uses picks after 30?!
Ahh the views of the spoon feed club…

Wait till the bevy or Rd1'ers dry u pa nd reality dawns up there.

you will be back to the field ( as much as the AFL will allow) having to use picks after 30.

We got Gore and Gregson all after 40. Lets see what you can do without the silver spoon.

GO Catters

De Goey coming along Lately

that kick in the freo match taht set up the goal was sublime. will be a good mid

DeGoey, Duggan and Brayshaw leading the pack for the mids in the last draft. Brayshaw out in front by a fairly decent margin

Still sticking with my call that De Goey will be the best player from that top 10 crop.

As Defacto said, that set up play was insane on a fair few levels.

The lead up to draft day I was frothing about Jack Billings and De Goey in the same team wreaking havoc on the forward flanks, while resting from their onball stints! Wowza, that woulda been summn.

DeGoey, Moore and Maynard. Three 200 gamers is not a bad effort.

Ahh yes, predicting players are going to be 200 gamers before they've even played a game. Clearly this is a reasonable position.

Using this logic the Saints got five 200 gamers in the 2015 draft. The only difference is that only 1 of ours hasn't played yet and 3 of them have shown real signs that they will make it in the games they have played.

Geez Paddy looked menacing in the VFL today. As one poster on our board put it, he's like "a big slab of meat," in terms of his body shape, but still moves well and provides an option for his mids.
