Honda is a consistent rumour, as is Kranjcar but ive noticed that if were linked to them in the press, it rarely happens. I dont remember a single link to Miereles before he was signed. But I would love Honda at the club. Very good player with obvious marketing opportunities.

Purslow signed Meireles and I remember Roy saying in a press conference shortly afterwards that he'd never seen him play.

I support the club more than you do, but if you think supporting the club is to bang out boring cliche praises and approval of everything that's happening or all personnel within the club (Which is what you do and everybody laugh at it), then you really don't understand the meaning of what support means. Everything I say is what I believe to be the best for the club, always was, is and will be.

Pretty spot on cooldude.

Just give him some time.

Remember, he inherited a squad with players like Gerrard and Torres, not Murphy and Zamora.

Give him a full season in charge, the money to buy some world class players (like the aforementioned Zamora and Murphy), possibly Duff because he's versatile and play across on either wing and even at LB if needed.

Yeah, it's also being shown at 4:30pm tomorrow afternoon (on ESPN's standard definition channel), as well as at 10:30pm tomorrow night on ESPN HD.

Meireles insists Roy Hodgson played a key role in his decision to make the move to Liverpool.
