Yeh probably so.

I'm glad no changes have been made to the rookie list so far. I think we have a very strong group of rookies who could be very useful senior list players. Rampe will get elevated, Biggs, Jack, X.Richards all played seniors and will probably be kept on consequently, Lloyd and Robinson were talked up all year by the coaches and Naismith would be worth another year of development surely.

So we don't need to make room then I suppose.

I think our cat B is full if we don't promote or delist one of Jack, Robinson or Naismith.

According to SEN, Saints are pretty roo**ted financially! Along with Watters not resonating with the older brigade, I would certainly investigate Fisher across our HB line, he's probably 175 yrs old, but a bloody great player who could add a bit of dash, perhaps a swap with Armstrong? ;)

I know alot of things could happen with maybe Lamb leaving or others retiring but this is what im looking at leading up to list management and changes currently:

Out: 5 Players or 6 If Mumford goes.

1.Bolton
2.Mattner
3.Morton
4.A.Brown
5.White
________

6.Mumford?

7.Walsh (Delisted?)
8.Lockyer (Has he shown enough to hold down a spot on our list)
9.Dick (Same as Lockyer)

In:
14 Gardiner
18 (Mumfords Pick) Salem, Dumont, Marsh
27 (Jesse Whites Pick) Mitch Thorp or Dayle Gartlett
31: Lobb, D.Cameron
49: Lloyd Perris
67: Dane Rampe

What does everybody think?

Signing a third round pick to a 3 year deal doesn't sound like smart list management to me. I understand the reasoning behind it, to try and help the young fellow settle down in an interstate club, but it can lead to situations similar to what's happening now with an inflexible list.
We probably didn't. I do recall Lockyer got an immediate contract extension to 3 years after a strong initial preseason (could be wrong). Brown was probably never extended and finished his two year initial contract.

Lockyer was ok, from what i saw (admit it wasn't much). Would prefer him over X, who seemed a bit fumbly and a poor kick.

Bit harsh on Dick too. He's only had a year, and was pretty slender when he got here. Deserves at least one more season with a bit more size and confidence to see if he's got it.

Walsh can go.

Fisher is another one in the Martin mould, don't need scum at the Bloods

Add Everitt and Lamb that are not signed and its starting to look like last year with all the players we got rid off

Happy to take your word on it,
however that's a pretty strong allegation against someone's character, anything to back that up with?
And yes I agree with this time of year about trade week/period, however what goes on here is really no different to what gets reported in the press, 1001 trades get bandied about and only a handful ever go through, but helps fill some void of no games, I generally take it with a grain of salt until it's locked, sealed and completed, just have fun with it.

Fairly well known fact

Colin Sylvia?

About to turn 28, been down the last season or so at a terrible club going nowhere but can clearly play. Damaging midfielder who can get forward. Free agent.

Chapman has been mentioned a few times - Syvlia is four years younger than him...

He's terrible one of the most inconsistent footballers getting around

OMG, Goodes lied right to Punts' face!!!

I have mixed feels, from a purely Swans perspective I love it, and will be especially extra early to book flights for late September.

There's no doubting that this will cause a massive shitstorm of epic and biblical proportions, and from that sense I'd rather the Swans not be a part of it.
