The media, senior public servants and police engaged in an effective cover-up allowing the crimes to continue for 15 years out of fear of being "outed" as one of those devastatingly aggressive PC labels. 2. Is Islam separate? As in - it does not have values in common with other cultures?
3. Is Islam inferior to 'the West'.

5. Is it violent, aggressive, threatening, supportive of terrorism?
6. Are we engaged in a 'clash of civilizations' with Islam?
7. Is Islam a political ideology, used mainly for political or military advantage?
8. Do you reject criticisms made of "the West" by Muslims out of hand?
9. Are discriminatory practices towards Muslims and/or exclusion of Muslims from mainstream society justified?

In my mind a "bigot" is a fictional bogey man lefties have invested in their heads to shut down any debate they are too immature to have... and for the record my apprehension as it relates to Muslims is the worldwide rise in Islamic terrorism and the impacts on general freedoms our culture is built on. Nothing more. On Australia Day the Today show was speaking to those taking part in citizenship ceremonies. One man spoke eloquently about the freedoms of life in Australia which made him feel that here is where he wants to be - camera pans to his wife, who is wearing full Islamic dress meant to hide the female form and a niqab, hiding her face! So I guess freedom for him is his wife not being able to run around a netball court, or a keep fit class, no swimming in a pool or in the ocean, going out to work or even eating in public, all of which free Australian women will be enjoying the freedom to indulge in today and every other day. I'm uncomfortable with that.

Suddenly 30 loud, obviously drunk youths who happen to be aboriginal turn into the street and start walking towards me. Is it 1) common sense or is it 2) racism if I decide to walk back up the street the other direction and avoid them? Alternatively is it blind but morally acceptable stupidity if I proceed forward towards this group and get my head caved in with a king brown?
