I take this to mean the player who has the issue with Carlisle would need to be on the trade table?

Jake played at Calder with Dan Talia, once after a game went back to his place and gave his brother a wedgie, Michael holds a grudge and didn't want Jake at the Dogs, so Jake called his good mate Dan pretending to be Michael and made up stuff about the Dogs game plan in an elaborate ruse to get Michael in trouble, and clear the way for him to join the dogs.

I'm pretty sure this is the story no one has been willing to tell.

Personally as much as I like him id do Hrovat and a 2nd in a heart beat, would set up our list perfectly.

Have those claiming to be in the know on this board conferred via PM and confirmed that everyone's rumours and sources are at least roughly consistent (e.g. at the very least the same Bulldogs player is involved and that rumours of Carlisle's transgression is consistent)?
The one thing that seems to be consistent between the people in the know is that the Bulldog involved is a heart-and-soul, highly rated and well liked kind of guy. Even with the Talia situation, surely we wouldn't go down the Carlisle path if this were the case.

We all have people we don't like and even actively despise in our workplaces, I know I do, but you get on with it because you all have jobs to do and you're all adults.

I don't know the rumour/s, but we either want to try and get into the top 4 and have a shot at a flag or we don't.

To be honest, if the rumour is true, I wouldn't - and I think most people wouldn't - want Carlisle at the club, regardless of any riff with a fellow player at the club

Well, depends on the transgression. Plenty of people quit their jobs after scandals and falling outs. One of the biggest causes of people leaving jobs, or finding their workplace a stressful or unproductive or depressing place to work is management and the people they work with. Players can leave if they aren't happy and we have a core of young, exciting players to keep together. Without knowing anything about the rumour besides what's posted in this thread I can't comment on whether Carlisle would mess with the fabric of the club, but I'd hope we are not so desperate for a KPD after Talia's departure that we bring him in if the rumours are true.
