it's worth repeating that most footy fans will be extremely happy if Hawthorn reckon they can bounce back next year with this list. They can't win the flag next year. But you can see why they almost have to try.

They *should* trade Hodge, Gibbo, Mitchell while they have currency, but I'm not sure even Clarko is strong enough.

If they did trade those three and indicated a mini-rebuild was being undertaken, how many 1000s of members would they lose for 2017?

everything screams 'stay the course' with their current playing group, but it would be a huge mistake.
