It occurs to me, reflecting on the 'serious injury' term, that it's all relative. I for one wouldn't be engaging in schadenfreude if he again had a blood clot on his lung; that's serious. If, however, it's an injury that simply prevents him from playing footy for a while, 'serious or otherwise', and has no long term affect on his health, then I'm happy to bring all the schadenfreude I can to bear.Perhaps you could tone the schadenfreude down a notch, Wells has always carried himself with humility and dignity and if indeed he has suffered a serious injury it shouldn't be celebrated despite whatever club he's playing for.
