In order to keep Lever and Gov I don't think there's room enough from what might happen this season. I think there's going to be a lot of hard decisions regarding who's OOC in 2018 included in their retention. Here's my take on what I expect to happen with the out of contract players:
Jake Kelly - Should re-sign
Jake Lever - Who knows!
Riley Knight (4+ years) - Should re-sign
Andy Otten - May re-sign or may be a UFA
Cameron Ellis-Yolmen - Delist
Tom Doedee - Re-sign or could request trade
Dean Gore #(had a contract until the end of 2017 with Geelong before trade) - Delist
Mitch McGovern - Probably re-sign
Scott Thompson - Retire
Harrison Wigg - Delist
Kyle Cheney - Re-sign, but posssibly could delist/trade
Paul Hunter (R) - Re-sign
Jonathon Beech (R) - Delist
Ben Jarman (R) - Re-sign
That's 3 delistings and 1 retirement.
Greenwood and Keath added to the main list, leaving 2 draft picks for now, but could be more, depending on what happens with other uncontracted players.

I think Richie will retire. David Mackay may get another shorter, smaller ( or similar) contract ie no increase.David Mackay (10+ yrs)
Richard Douglas (10+ yrs)
Keep and re-signRory Sloane (10+ yrs)
Rory Laird
Tom Lynch
Matthew Crouch
Rory Atkins
May hold some trade valueCharlie Cameron (5+ years)
Brodie Smith (8 years)
50/50 go or stayHarry Dear
I cant see any major decision on these 5. All would most likely get a contract extension for approx 2 yearsJordan Gallucci
Myles Poholke
Elliot Himmelberg
Matthew Signorello
Ben Davis
I suspect it depends on what the player wants to do. They signed Eddie for 3 more years, with the contract being announced in January this year. There are other examples. Why do we wait for the contracts to expire for our gun players.
We need to be bold and sign these guys up asap.
My priority is Bran Nue Mackae, Four more years, four more years, four more years.......

Info on zero hanger https://www.zerohanger.com/afl/teams/adelaide-crows/ has Seedman and Menzel contracted until end 2018 and Hampton until end 2017. They seem reasonably accurate and have already updated McGovern.contract length not confirmed

It makes some sense that he signed a 3 year deal. He had a year to run on his contract with GWS when he was traded. Either way I don't think we have to worry about him being a flight risk ..Footywire has Hampton end of 2018

Not sure if Zero Hanger are completely accurate though. Harry Dear, for example, is contracted to the end of 2018 (http://www.afc.com.au/player-profile/harry-dear), not this year (as they have it).Info on zero hanger https://www.zerohanger.com/afl/teams/adelaide-crows/ has Seedman and Menzel contracted until end 2018 and Hampton until end 2017. Yep - they don't seem 100% on lesser known players. TBF I only said reasonably accurate though. Footy wire has Harry Dear to 2018. Perhaps there info is better? Not sure if Zero Hanger are completely accurate though.
