I posted this link in another thread, but then thought it was worthy of it's own thread, especially on "R U OK" day. Really a brilliant article and worth a read.

I applaud him for being so open and honest about his personal struggles and wish him luck moving forward in his life.
I went through a very similar experience when I was in my late 20's which was a massive challenge to work through but luckily I reached out and got the support I needed.

Hopefully the stigma around depression and communicating your emotions (especially males) continues to dissipate. The only way to beat depression or at least control it is to be open and honest not afraid to talk to others about how your feeling, it's very surprising how many people are going through the exact same issues.
