They also always say how the left are thugs and "why can't they just do peaceful protest". Cherrypicking the minority of incidents at left wing rallies or protests. Then when Kaepernick and others do non-violent protest they subsequently attack them for doing so.

Former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom believes this is only 5% of what is going to be released. James Comey and the FBI have a big problem. Breaking the law is usually frowned upon unless you are the FBI.

I'll ask Trumpians again because they have a habit of ignoring logical questions about their latest hysterical premise . . . if the FBI was in the tank for Clinton and was spying on the Trump campaign, why target Carter Page?

Page was forced to step down from the Trump campaign on the 26th September 2016 (because of news reports he was meeting with Russians).

The FISA warrant was lodged on 21st October 2016 - almost a month after he was booted as a foreign policy adviser to Trump.

Trump surrounded himself with a host of questionable characters. The FBI already had Page under surveillance long before Trump was even running.

Every time a Republican says the FISA warrant was directed at a "Trump campaign staffer" they are telling a lie or contradicting one.

Some Trumpians have defended this by saying Page was still working for Trump (i.e. reporting his stepping down was an intentional lie). We know Trumpians are quite content with their Orange Idol lying to them, & we know he lies a lot, so that is believable. Hell they were content with the "nobody knows" Page excuse from the WH so they'll accept anything.

But if he was secretly still advising a campaign & the accusations against him were significant enough for him & Trump to orchestrate this lie, isn't he exactly the sort of person in Washington that the FBI would be interested in if they are doing their job?

There is a key distinction being overlooked, perhaps conflated, by many who are reviewing the recently released HPSCI memo as it relates to the outlined targeting of U.S. individual Carter Page.

The warrant was issued under Title I

The FISA ‘warrant’ request, against Carter Page, was made October 21st, 2016, under Title I of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Meaning the surveillance application was specifically stating, to the court, the U.S. individual was likely an actual agent of a foreign government, ie. “a spy.”

Title 1 allows not only surveillance of US citizen Carter Page (accused of being a foreign agent by the Clinton financed Steele Trump hating dossier), but also follow up surveillance of any of his direct contacts—the entire Trump team, irrespective of when Page stopped being a campaign advisor. Logic of FISA title one is simple—catch the entire spy network. Result is horrific. Any Page call or email to the Trump team exposed the entire Trump team to surveillance under title 1 of FISA. Really dirty. Trump’s wiretap tweet was correct. Admiral Rodgers only knew the lesser part of it.

It still doesn't answer the question "why Carter Page?"

If you were going to fabricate evidence and get a warrant on that evidence (as is the claim), why not target someone still intimately involved in the campaign? It's not like Donald didn't surround himself with questionable characters who would have been easy to impugn.

Trump's campaign adviser is also on the record saying Page never had an official email account with the campaign.

So why Carter Page?
