On the Hawks side of things.

Put Sicily & Burton on the HbF
Replace Langford in the mids with Howe
Put Impey in Sicily’s place up forward
How are the majority hawks fans feeling? Are they confident with pre season form going into round 1?

Annnnd he's fine and ready to go for Round 1.

Next.
Hope so, we need him. This is a real 50/50 game and so important to the rest of our season

We’re not overly confident but I really liked the way we played against Carlton but our skills were deplorable and hopefully they’ve touched that up and play good footy... and beat you guys.

All the experts on here

Consider how you fit 10 midfielders into 5 positions

Who doesn't play
Treleor
Pendelbury
Degoey
Maynard
Seir
Wells
Crisp
Greenwood
Aish
Broomhead
WHE
Phillips
And that's without brown, daicos brown

Then consider who can play other spots , who is off more value and who can't

Or maybe lets just piss em all off
And not explore other options

Crisp says hello too

Modern day football has one ruck, three or four key positions specialists, maybe one specialist forward, and then the other 16 or 17.

Given the thread is about round 1 v Hawthorn, to answer your question De Goey Wells Greenwood wont play nor will Daicos or T Brown

C Brown Aish Broomhead and Sier on the fringe

Maybe your reply was more succinct than mine

The point is midfielders need time in the midfield

No value to us left in vfl

The crisp experiment success hbf means that others will be trialled in other positions when they can be replaced by others and gee who knows like crisp might turn out great

What happens when wells wills de goey greenwood come in

Our biggest weakness this season IMOo is back pocket

Is rather see Maynard up the ground and degoey in the guts with wills and sier

When Wells De Goey come in two other players go out, C Brown or Aish for example.

I dont see Greenwood Wills as best 22. Or Sier just yet.

Reslly dont see what youre trying to say. Pressure on spots is good but at the end of the day theres not a lot of difference these days between flanks wings or midfield, especially with the 4 man bench. They cant all be in the guts but rotations allow plenty to run through there.

What are you talking about?
We aren't going to play Wills and Sier just because they need to develop...They can earn that in the VFL.

If De Goey doesn't play against the Hawks, then heads should roll. Absolutely ******* ridiculous not to include him in what is a side weakened by injury already.

He’s injured mate

What do you mean he's injured? For *s sake, why does every good player in our side get injured? Our players are built of porcelain instead of steel. How long is he out for? ******* ridiculopus our rate of injury. No other team can hope to rival our ability to pick draftees liable to suffer chronic and crippling injury or just to succumb to some injury when most needed because everyone else who is any good is already in rehab.

He strained his hamstring at training. Hope it’s not too serious.

Are you ok? It’s not like you to use such crude language. Is it in honour of St Pats day?

Yeah let's say it's St Pats that's responsible. I only use crude language when I am very frustrated and I know it is going to appear as asterisks or campaigners and such. If De Goey had been training with the seniors rather than VFL he would still be available for AFL selection. This injury is the club's own doing.

Well we don’t know that kind sir. He might have done his ACL with the AFL side. I think we need to adopt a Buddhist perspective on this.

Sorry, he would not have done a hammy with the AFL team. Circumstances, training procedures and bodily functions and movements would all have been totally different. Don't see what Buddhism has got to offer in these circumstances either other than it also works on the principle that you reap what you sow.

Maybe just roach a spliff and chill out.
