They have covered it. And then Hutchy gets to do a thought bubble about a future AFLW fixture which involves the ridiculous scenario of the final H&A round being worth double point.
Yes they did but you can bet that they would have banged on about Carlton more if they had won. They didn’t really cover the game , only the size of crowd and Erin’s injury. Actually didn’t mind hutchy idea of moving the women’s season with the gf being a curtain raiser to men’s gf, but the double point round idea is really dumb.

Well for starters the train timetable said the train would stop at the station. So the service was promised and not delivered. Please explain how this is entitlement
I suppose you think you're entitled to basic health care and education as well? Free loader

And the women’s finals being curtain raisers, um that could mean the higher ranked team not playing at home,
or two teams playing in neither of their states.
I think it’s a bit unreasonable to consider that Footy Classified would have thought about this idea for more than half a second before talking about it. The show is full of half baked ideas, normally suggested by Hutchy to generate outrage, rather than wanting good discussion.

It's not a business. It's government.

You know the bit where you sell off anything that makes a profit to private enterprise and keep everything that makes a loss. Then you just try and run it as cheap as possible to minimise the damage.

Then you cut it every year.

Don't rely on the government to provide any services. Get a taxi with all the cash you've saved in taxes. And in doing so give your hard earned to private enterprise.

Bit of short sighted thinking. The money raised from selling assets is used to build other assets such as roads, schools and hospitals. It works out better to sell and have cash than to take out loans and pay interest. Governments shouldn’t be hoarding valuable assets, instead using these to create further wealth.

Geez that could be gamed easily. Get cosy with the match schedule committee and make sure you play last years spooner in the final round.

I wouldn't.

What would you pay to see a Women's Grand Final between Carlton and Collingwood.
Its a grand final, the pinnacle of the sport, Id pay $20 to see a grandfinal at Adelaide oval with any womens club playing if held this weekend, maybe Id pay more the longer and bigger the competition got.

Then again, I am female, I love football, I've played it, I have an invested interest in seeing elite women's sport
I regularly pay money to watch Adelaide united in the w-league, I've flown interstate to watch the Matildas play.
I have no problem spending money on a product I find entertaining.

i think you're one of the few tbh.

aflw has a feel goodness to it at the moment, but the product is still very poor.

This narrative from the Vic media about making the Women's Grand final rotated or permanently at the MCG is just a joke and it's got me really worried.

If 53 thousand at the Adelaide Oval on Sunday doesn't prove that the GF should be held at the teams home ground I don't know what does.

Looking at the 3 GFs the worst attended was the Victorian one with a poultry 7 odd thousand.
Such a joke.
South Australian's supported the event Sunday. Why can't we make this a positive.

Also Hird back at Essendon... Hasn't he had a lifetime ban as a coach?
My god these are making me angry.

No wonder I don't watch any of the Vic Centric Footy Shows anymore.

I put my hand up and say I bailed on last year's GF because the weather was absolutely putrid that day - Poured with rain all day - I wimped out and stayed in bed and watched at home

If it was the Crows though, I would have got there

Also, where exactly is this narrative about rotating GF / MCG GF?

poor games don't make a poor product. Hawthorn v Adelaide last year at the MCG was the worst game I've ever seen, doesn't mean we rag on the entire league

If you haven't watched any of the GF, just watch the 2nd quarter. If you can't enjoy that then you are a sad old man

Do roads, schools and hospitals create wealth or do they cost money? If the gvt has cash-providing assets then they can fund these things adequately. To use an example, let's sell the Lotteries Commission, a rolled-gold money making cert, take the money and pork-barrel it to try to stay in office and at the end of the day you have bugger all and the corporate cowboys are feeding at the trough once again.
Trust politicians to sell multi-billion dollar assets and use the money wisely? Nah!

I may be biased as I didn't watch many non-Crows games, but I felt the standard this year was much better than Year 2 (and miles better than Year 1). Scoring was higher and the general skill level improved significantly. In previous years you wouldn't get the slingshot scoring chains that we saw from the Crows this year.

maybe you should?

differing opinions makes the world go round :)
If you actually had some "value add" with your posts it would be useful. Repeatedly posting about how you don't like AFLW doesn't add anything. We know you don't like it, so repeatedly stating that fact is just white noise at this point.
