Lol, that jumper is a joke. To make it worse, seeing it just reminds me of how shocking and unprofessional Freo was back then. They didn't win a final until 2006, 11 years after joining the league!

When I see the original Eagle head I still get Nostalgic for our all-conquering 90s team. So many stars.

I work in branding, and the old fremantle jumper is a common case study. It's a great example of how people associate brands with failure.

I'm serious... People actually see that jumper and think of failure. It's kinda sad!

GWS got two non negotiable fifty metre penalties and the Bombers crowd went off. Essendon board suggested staging a walk out after the second one. It’s umpiring related.

I'm okay with them now. Sure, a lot of their fans are utter flogs on BigFooty but they (finally) cleaned out Hird and his associates and they've served their deserved punishment. Time to move on.

I hated Essendon pre-Hird. My hatred probably developed around the time that Sheedy dropped Kickett for the GF. Hird was just the kicker.

Didn't mind Sheedy (with the exception of the bizarre throat slitting gesture at Mitchell White), game always needs the entertainers, I liked the jacket waving routine we had going for a little while.

However, they deserved everything they got for the drugs saga.
